UCLA While You Were Away: A Photo Tour of Powell Library

There may be no students on campus and visitor traffic may be light, but we wanted to bring you all (no matter where you are, and how far from UCLA), a walking tour of Powell Library. For those who are UCLA alumni, this will most likely bring back fond memories. Whether new to the UCLA campus or not, Powell Library is one of the key points of interest on campus. Let’s begin…

Walking Up Janss Steps to Royce Quad…

It’s daytime, and this is what you’ll typically see. Beautiful Royce Hall.

You enter and start your long journey studying, late into the night.

You’re greeted by Fiat Lux

You’ll make the most out of the 24 Hour Reading Room…

You decide to go upstairs, where it’s a bit quieter…

You can feel the history of UCLA…

You can feel the grandeur of the second floor of Powell Library…

You can see Royce Hall through its majestic windows…

Even the roof is ornate. So much detail around every corner…

Your trip to Powell Library is complete and you see Royce Hall once last time.
