Located in the heart of the Sunset Village on-campus housing community, Covel Commons is a meeting and dining facility that offers several excellent event spaces.
Upon entering the Covel venue, guests are greeted by a dramatic three-story spiral staircase that leads up to our premiere conference venue – the nearly 6,000-square foot Grand Horizon Room. With its high vaulted ceilings, 40-foot projection screen, and wall of windows framing a panoramic view of the campus from adjoining terrace, this space was designed for large theater-style presentations, banquets, and receptions. Floor-to-ceiling sliding partitions allow this space to be divided into seven smaller salons.
The adjoining 3,700-square foot outdoor Terrace creates a stunning backdrop for any outdoor social event. The adjacent North Ridge, West Coast, and South Bay meeting rooms are ideal for smaller breakout sessions. Covel Commons also features two fully-equipped computer labs which round out this multi-purpose event venue.
