Carnesale Commons is centrally located within convenient walking distance to core campus. Compliant with the UC Policy on Sustainable Practice, Carnesale Commons holds a LEED Silver certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
This venue features our largest meeting space, the Palisades Room, which provides a total of 6,700 square feet of combined meeting space and a versatile, open-plan pre-function area. This impressive space can be divided into as many as five separate salons by sliding partitions. Accented by floor-to-ceiling windows that feature high performance glazing, blackout shades, and powered sunshades for climate control and energy efficiency, the space has stunning views of Janss Steps and iconic UCLA landmarks, Royce Hall and Powell Library.
In addition to the Palisades Room, Carnesale Commons is also home to three additional breakout rooms for smaller set-ups — Malibu, Venice and Hermosa — which range from 700 to 1,200 square feet each.
