The health and well-being of our guests, team members and everyone we serve at UCLA Conferences & Catering is our highest priority.
We are actively monitoring novel coronavirus (COVID-19) updates from the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), and will continue to respond based on the best advice of governments, public health authorities and medical professionals.
In addition to encouraging our guests to follow CDC recommendations (including frequent and thorough handwashing) and maintaining an already rigorous cleaning regimen, our operation is taking a number of additional precautions, including:
- Increasing the cleaning frequency of high-touch surfaces and commonly used equipment
- Heavily sanitizing all vehicle interiors at the end of each day, including wheels, arm rests, dashboards, gear shifter and door handles. Additionally, sanitization wipes have been placed in each vehicle to be used and additional sanitation protocols are to be enacted each time a new driver enters the vehicle.
- Supplying our team members with hand-sanitizer and gloves during set-up, and increased the frequency of cleaning of high-touch surfaces, to name a few. Protective gloves are used for all set-up and preparation of food service equipment, cutlery, buffet utensils and platewear.
- Staff are also trained and reminded daily to use CDC health practices to support community health.
